One day, I noticed that my mother began to disremember things. This kept snowballing, and we decided to take medical assistance and check with the doctor. It was then she was spotted with Alzheimer’s disease. During the following months, little by little, the sickness affected her walking until she was eventually confined to a wheelchair. Her walking was faltering due to phantasms and imaginary obstacles. She could only manage some steps, leaning on two persons with bent legs nearly touching the ground. She had lost all sense of restraint. She became enduringly incontinent. During a transitory period of time, she did not sleep, even after taking prescription medicine. It was heartbreaking to see my mother going all emotionless, and she even began losing a lot of weight.
